Specify whether to auto-join some WiFi networks

Auto Join WiFi
Starting at least with iPhone OS 3.1, possibly earlier, you can choose whether your device auto-joins some WiFi networks. I don’t see this option for my home network, but I caught it on the AT&T WiFi hotspot offered at Starbucks.

    I'm going to hazard a guess (an uninformed one, since I only have my home network available) and say that the feature is specific to attwireless, since iPhone 3 logs into the attwireless network automatically without visiting the web page and logging in and such. WiFi can be pretty slow/heavily used at Starbucks, I often turn it off and just use 3G.

    It doesn't work with just any WiFi network. I wonder if it's just with AT&T.

    You guys might be right, because I can’t find this on other networks around town. I’m also having trouble thinking of another commercial WiFi service or network on which to test this. Any ideas?
